We had RAIN in Death Valley! It was a dramatic storm, but we had no mis-haps, and enjoyed the way the wind threw the clouds about and what it did to the light and the aromas. Below, is my first attempt to use a new Ap that allows me to make some entries a bit more artsy…I haven’t quite figured out how to do the whole blog this way, but will continue to play with it. I can’t alter it once its written, so it’s shy of an ideal method…but I can play more with the visuals.
Then we hit the road heading for Sante Fe…
and now we’re in Austin! Here’s a view of the River from the elevator in our downtown hotel.
I ventured out on my own to hear some great Blues last night, to a nice, open-air venue nearby. Felt safe, and enjoyed the music immensely!

Actusall, Denise Kester turned me on to an ap called, Noteshelf, which is what I used to do the artsy stuff. It has limitations, but still its rather fun…Hope all is well with you!
